Really huge “compact” fluorescent lamps
You used the brightest light bulb you could find, and it’s still too dark? Maybe you need a “high-wattage compact fluorescent lamp”. Those energy-efficient bulbs with the curly tubes now come in super size — up to 200 watts. Laughably huge, but they can put out up to 12,000 lumens (compared to 1700 lumens for a 100-watt incandescent lamp).
